Ingredients:
4 tilapia fillets (about 6 oz each)
3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)
Lemon wedges (for serving)

Tools Required:
Big non-stick frying pan
Tongs
Spoons for measuring
Cutting board and knife
A tiny bowl (for combining butter with garlic and herbs)
A spatula

Preparation Time:
Total Time: 20 minutes
Prep: 10 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes

Directions:
Get the tilapia ready:
To make sure the tilapia fillets crisp up beautifully, pat them dry with paper towels.
Sprinkle the fillets with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder on both sides.

To pan-fry the tilapia:
Place a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and heat two tablespoons of olive oil.
Add the tilapia fillets to the skillet with the heated oil. The fish should be golden brown and flake readily with a fork after 3–4 minutes on each side. After taking the fillets out of the skillet, place them on a plate.

To prepare the Garlic Herb Butter:
Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the same skillet and lower the heat to medium.
Sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds till it becomes fragrant.
Add the parsley, dill (if using), lemon juice, and butter and stir. Cook, stirring frequently, for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the sauce is well mixed and the butter has melted.

Mix and serve:
Put the tilapia fillets back in the skillet and cover them with the garlic herb butter sauce.
To allow the flavours to blend, cook for a further one to two minutes.
Serve right away, accompanied by lemon wedges.
