Ingredients:
500g (1 lb) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tsp cornstarch (mixed with 1 tbsp water)
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley or spring onion for garnish
Cooked rice or noodles to serve

Directions:
Get the prawns ready: 
After rinsing, use paper towels to pat the shrimp dry.  Add a small pinch of salt and pepper.

Mince Garlic and Ginger:

Sauté Aromatics: 
In a skillet or wok over medium heat, warm the olive oil.  Add the chilli flakes, ginger, and garlic.  Stir for one minute until aromatic.

Cook Shrimp:

Create the Sauce: 
Put the chicken broth, oyster sauce, and soy sauce in the same skillet.  Bring to a simmer.  Stir in the cornflour slurry until it thickens.

Mix and serve:
By adding the prawns back to the skillet.  Coat with sauce by tossing.  Cook for another one to two minutes.

Garnish and enjoy: 
Serve over noodles or rice and sprinkle with chopped parsley or spring onions.
