Ultimate Chicken and Vegetable Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, broccoli, and corn work well)
1 cup cooked rice or pasta (optional)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil or butter

Tools Required: 
9 x 13-inch baking pan
 Bowls for mixing
 Whisky
 Measurement spoons and cups
 A knife and cutting board (for preparing fresh vegetables)
 Aluminium foil (not required)

Cooking Time:
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes

Directions:
Warm up the oven: 
Set the oven temperature to 375°F, or 190°C.

Get the ingredients ready:
By chopping the raw veggies into small pieces.  Cut the cooked chicken into shreds or dice.

To make the sauce:
Put the chicken stock, sour cream, garlic and onion powders, paprika, salt, and pepper in a big mixing bowl.  Until smooth, whisk.

Combine Ingredients: 
To the sauce mixture, add the cooked chicken, mixed veggies, and, if using, rice or pasta. Stir until the coating is uniform.

Transfer to Baking Dish: 
Fill a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with the mixture once it has been buttered.  Evenly distribute it.

Add the toppings:
By equally scattering the breadcrumbs and the shredded cheddar cheese over top.  For a crispy finish, sprinkle with butter or drizzle with olive oil.

Bake: 
Put the dish in the oven that has been warmed and bake it for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbling and the top is golden brown.

Before serving:
Allow it to cool for five minutes.  Warm up and enjoy!
